Overview
The Implicit Allocation Mechanism developed by PRISMA allows associated brokers to reserve and book transport capacity from the operator on a first-come, first-served basis. This capacity can then be offered to the market together with the commodity.
Instructions:
1. You will receive a link from your broker that initiates the OAuth2 authorisation flow.
2. Opening the link will take you to a page similar to the following:
3. Continue to the next step, where you will be asked to enter your PRISMA account credentials.
4. After entering your credentials and confirming, you will be redirected to the broker’s page. The broker is now authenticated to place reservations and book transport capacity with the operator on your behalf.
5. For details regarding the implicit capacity booking process, please contact your broker directly.
Key facts:
- Authorisation model: OAuth2 authorisation that lets a broker book capacity on your behalf (similar to “Login with Google”).
- Token validity: 1 calendar year. After expiry, repeat the authorisation flow to issue a new token.
- Revocation: To withdraw a broker’s access, contact Customer Success.
- Notifications: You will receive notifications for reservations made on your behalf and a confirmation email when a booking is completed.
- How bookings appear: IAM bookings appear in your transactions as Direct FCFS bookings because the underlying mechanism is Direct FCFS.
- Where to review access: Settings → Booking Authorisation shows all active OAuth2 grants.
