How to remove your code from the Authenticator app in Android

Overview

When your 6-digit code no longer works and you need to remove it from the authenticator app, follow the steps outlined here under.

Note: this article refers to ANDROID systems. For IOS devices, check here.


Instructions

Google Authenticator:


1. Click and hold for three seconds on the code which you want to remove;


2. Click on the trash icon on the top right corner and then on "Delete account":



Microsoft Authenticator:

1. Click on the code which you want to remove;


2. Click on the "Settings" icon on the top right corner;


3. Click on "Remove account":




2FA Authenticator:

 

1. Click on the pencil icon on the top right corner;


2. Click on the arrow in front of the code which you want to remove;


3. Click on three dots:


4. Then select "Delete":
