Overview
On PRISMA, you can book capacity at specific network points on a first-come-first-served basis. The platform acts, therefore, as an intermediary between you and TSO with respect to all booking information (e.g. request, confirmation of availability and final booking).
Now, you can start the Regular FCFS and the Direct FCFS booking processes on the same page. If you choose a Regular FCFS network point in the first step, you will be automatically led to the appropriate process.
This is how Regular FCFS works in general:
1. Capacity is sold at the regulated tariff;
2. The user requests a certain amount and the system checks whether the requested amount is available;
3. If the requested capacity is not available, the TSO may send alternatives, which will be automatically displayed on the platform.
NOTE: Not all TSOs offer FCFS capacity.
Instructions
To book FCFS capacity on PRISMA, do as follows:
1. Log into your PRISMA account;
2. Click on "Transport" on the top blue menu;
3. Then, click on "FCFS Booking" on the menu right below;
4. Now, enter the name of the network point at which you'd like to book capacity. A drop-down menu will display the available options. Select the relevant one;
5. Then, click on "Next" to proceed.
If you choose a network point from a TSO that uses Regular FCFS, you will be led to the Regular FCFS booking process.
On the next page, do as follows:
1. Enter the capacity category and quantity;
2. The type of runtime for which you'd like to book the capacity. If you select "custom," the "Runtime" fields will become editable and you will be able to enter the exact period. Otherwise, the fields will be prefilled according to your choice;
3. Then, click on "Check Availability" to proceed;
NOTE: the availability check may take up to three minutes.
After you run the availability check, you will proceed to the next stage:
1. If the requested capacity is available, you will be able to confirm your booking and finalize the process. Note that the "Not Interested" option for the alternatives is pre-selected;
2. If the requested capacity is not available, you may be able to select suggested alternatives should there be any;
3. At the bottom of the page, you will be able to view trade proposals that match your request should there be any;
4. If applicable, enter your balancing group code at the end of the process;
5. Then, read and accept the terms and conditions by ticking the box;
6. At last, click on "Submit."
Note: if no alternative capacity is available, you will not be able to continue and if you still wish to book capacity via FCFS, you must start a new booking with different specifications.
After the submission, you will see the screen below with the details of your booking and the notice on its status:
Once the FCFS booking is received by the TSO, you will see the following screen:
