Overview
You will find attached below a presentation containing a detailed description of the LNG capacity auction process as it applies to the LNG operators DET (short-term only), Deutsche Regas and TotalEnergies LNG Services France.
Note: Although there are commonalities, please be aware that Fosmax and Elengy LNG auctions operate differently, particularly with respect to the algorithm used for allocation.
Content
In the presentation, you will find a thorough explanation of the following processes:
1. How to request an assignment to the LNG operators on the platform.
2. How to place a bid in an LNG capacity auction.
3. How the Ascending Clock Algorithm works in the LNG capacity auctions for DET (short-term), Deutsche Regas and TotalEnergies LNG Services France.
Note: the Ascending Clock Algorithm used in DET short-term, Deutsche Regas and TotalEnergies LNG Services France auctions differs from the Ascending Clock Algorithm used in Elengy and Fosmax Auctions. Furthermore, the Ascending Clock Algorithm for LNG capacity in general also differs from the Ascending Clock Algorithm for transport capacity.
