Inside Information Platform (IIP) - How to Subscribe to PRISMA's RSS Feed?

Overview

PRISMA's Inside Information Platform (IIP) publishes two kinds of message, and each one has its own RSS feed: Urgent Market Messages (UMM) and Maintenance Messages (MM). Subscribing to a feed lets you read new messages in the reader of your choice instead of opening the platform.

The two feeds are separate. Subscribing to the Urgent Market Messages feed does not deliver Maintenance Messages, and subscribing to the Maintenance Messages feed does not deliver Urgent Market Messages. To follow everything the IIP publishes, subscribe to both, each from its own page.

How It Works

The two feeds

Feed What it contains Where to subscribe
Urgent Market Messages The UMMs published on the IIP. The Urgent Market Messages page
Maintenance Messages Messages informing the market about planned or unplanned IT downtime at an organization, during which First-Come-First-Served (FCFS) and surrender requests are temporarily suspended for that organization's network points. The Maintenance Messages page

Both pages sit under Market Messages in the navigation, and each carries its own Subscribe to RSS Feed button.

Subscribing to the Urgent Market Messages feed

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click Market Messages, then click Urgent Market Messages.
  3. Click Subscribe to RSS Feed in the top right corner of the page.
  4. If you have no RSS reader set up yet, PRISMA shows the feed URL, https://iip-service.prod.prisma-capacity.cloud/public/feed/rss. Copy it into your reader.

If UMMs cannot be published or displayed via the IIP, a fallback page is available on our corporate website, and a corresponding fallback RSS feed is provided with it. This fallback covers UMMs only.

Subscribing to the Maintenance Messages feed

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click Market Messages, then click Maintenance Messages.
  3. Click Subscribe to RSS Feed in the top right corner of the page.
  4. Copy the feed URL, https://iip-service.prod.prisma-capacity.cloud/public/maintenance-messages/rss, into your reader.

Once both feeds are in your reader, every new UMM and every new Maintenance Message arrives there without you opening the platform.
