Why Does PRISMA Recommend the Use of Standard Permission Groups?
To access PRISMA's core platform features and services, all users must be assigned to a permission group. This applies to all user types — shipper, TSO, SSO, and LSO — for both regular and administrator accounts. Each company type has its own version of PRISMA Standard Groups. For a full breakdown of which groups apply to each user type, refer to the PRISMA Standard Groups reference table.
We recommend that all users work with PRISMA Standard Groups. These groups include all the permissions needed to access core platform features and services, and they eliminate the risk of misconfiguration that can arise with custom groups. Standard groups therefore provide the most reliable and straightforward experience.
Users with an advanced understanding of the platform can create and customise permission groups using Advanced Mode. Note that Advanced Mode is intended for experienced administrators only; incorrect configuration may limit access to platform features.
