Overview
To trade with a specific operator on the PRISMA Platform, your company and the individual user must first be approved by that operator. This approval is called an assignment, and it is what links your account to a given Transmission System Operator (TSO), Storage System Operator (SSO), or Hydrogen Transport Network Operator (HTNO).
Assignments are requested directly on the platform. Once submitted, you'll receive an email pointing you to the relevant operator's tile on the Market Participants screen, where you can download the documents required for registration with that specific operator.
Only admin users can request assignments — both for themselves and on behalf of other users in their company.
How It Works
Requesting an assignment is a two-stage process: a request on the platform, followed by document submission to the operator.
Step 1: Submit the request on PRISMA
- Log into your PRISMA account.
- In the top menu, click Operators.
- In the top-right corner, click Apply for New Assignment.
On the next page:
- Select the person the assignment is being requested for.
- Select the operator you want to trade with.
- Read and accept the operator's General Terms and Conditions.
- Click Submit.
Step 2: Send the required documents to the operator
After submitting, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to that operator's details page in the Market Participants section. Their tile contains the full list of documents required for registration.
Send the completed documents directly to the operator, not to PRISMA. The operator reviews the paperwork and decides whether to approve or reject your assignment request.
