This site provides instructions to clear the cache for the most commonly used browsers. Clearing the browser cache can often help in the event of 404, 502, login problems and other errors that may potentially result from a corrupt cache.
Launch Google Chrome
- Click the Chrome menu icon represented by three horizontal bars in the upper-right corner of the browser window, and click Settings near the bottom of the resulting drop-down menu.
- Click Advanced settingsPrivacy and securityClear browsing data.
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
- Click Clear data.
Launch Mozilla Firefox
- Click the button with three bars in the upper-right corner of the browser window, and select Options from the resulting drop-down menu.
- Click Privacy and securityCached web content.
- Click Clear now.
- Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.
Launch Internet Explorer
- Click the gear-shaped Tools icon in the upper-right corner of the browser window, and select Internet options from the resulting drop-down menu. .
- Select General optionsBrowsing history.
- Select Delete Files under Temporary Internet Files.
- In the Delete Files dialog box, click to select the Delete all offline content check box.
- Select OK two times.
Launch Microsoft Edge
- Click the button showcasing three dots in the upper-right corner and select Settings from the resulting drop-down menu.
- Under the heading Clear browser data, click the button labeled Choose what to clear. Doing so will bring up a checklist of things you can clear, including browser history and cookies. To clear your browser cookies, check the box labeled Cached data and files.
- Click Clear.
